Lots of Love xx
I love Joanna Soh so much. What an alpha person. Why isn't Joanna more famous than all these " celebrities " on the idiot box. Always practical and helpful , life affirming stuff. And … That voice : I could listen to it all day and all night. All the best.
Good advice you are looking very good.
Thank you for the information and time you put into this.
o
Good advice, thanks! And in Canada, vegetables and fruit are more expensive than protein!!! :'(
12:04 😀 love the vid tho. Good tips.
Is it just me or someone else noticed that it took around 2 hours 15 mins for her to shoot the video !! Thanks for investing the time. ;)
This chick make me boner
so informative and helpful video….:):):)
I would buy nuts – Joanna Soh
Great tips! Thanks!
cut off my junk?
I agree, go basic! Most people talk about going organic but going basic when you on a budget or foodstamps even, is the only way your really going to make it through the month!
I'm allergic to fish
I just like hearing you talk.
Hello Joanna Soh
brown rice is cheaper than white here in the United States
I don't buy organic. Manure and animal waste is used in the farming process and in my opinion that is more nasty than any chemical pesticides which are used in many non organic foods.
I liked this video very much. Most of the tips are ones I've lived by for most of my life, so I personally didn't learn a lot new, but it was great hearing a younger person say it. I always find it sad when I see "trendy" but expensive advice being given to people without two nickels to rub together, like always buying organic, free-range, etc. Study after study has shown that these food are not any more nutritious than the cheaper "standard" versions. Some may be "better" from an ecological or animal welfare perspective, but it's a lot more to ask of a poor person to pay the price for these systemic advantages than to ask it of upper-middle-class suburbanites. A poor person's first obligation is to provide healthy food for themselves and their family. If they can then do some good for cows and chickens, that's nice, but first they must feed themselves and their family. That's the way of nature, and I think the cow and the chicken would feel the same.
You mentioned fish but if you want to get specific then canned tuna is amazing. 99 cents for 30 grams of protein. I mix it with some cottage cheese to dilute the flavour. Post workout with a raw carrot and some hummus. Gets the job done better than a protein shake any day.
where did you get berry mix?? is there in asean?? i'm in indonesia
thanks
If you live on the West coast you should look into Grocery Outlet, Bargain Market! They have a ton of organic products for really cheap~ I kid you not.
Great video!!!!
she sounds South African
Hey Joanna, what meals can you recommend me and my girlfriend. One of us is vegetarian and the other is omnivore. We are looking for healthy, simple, and inexpensive recipes that we can eat together.
Caged eggs for protein? Keep it at least free ranged eggs+ and eat less if you can't afford it folks or you'll get your ears looking like her elf ears. Looks like she's got Atlantic "farmed" fish. Stay away from farmed fish, if curious search farmed fish bacteria and surely it will bring out your appetite. Stick to trout or local caught fish or seafood frozen if you must. Bon appetite.
Great tips????
*after serving yourself just put the vegetables in a container and freeze it?
can't you just buy fresh vegetables and after it just freeze it?
free range eggs : twice as much omega-3 fatty acids, 3 x more vitamin E, less SATURATED FAT, A THIRD less cholesterol. I think they worth the extra dollars. be cheap with your clothes not your health.
This was an excellent vid but I am a bit disappointed with the choice of eggs, I buy free range eggs, eat a little less eggs and substitute with beans which are an excellent source of protein, just saying :)
Canned tomatoes? Pasta? Not healthy…
what lipstick do you have on?
We also use the Brita water filter. It saves a lot!????
i hve a lot of scars on my body bcoz of allergies and mosquito bite…i always eat fruits and apply whitening lotion and lemons etc..nothing happened
