Got a question, please: Do you use 100% hint powder?? Here, you can only buy compounded asafetida (=30% hint + 70% fenugreek). Or should I rather buy fresh hint which I grind by myself?
U dint add green chillys
I love all your recipes. This one is becoming my husband's favorite too..:). Could you please post a recipe for Karele ki Sabji?? please.. Thank you for such great recipes.
I loved the way this sabji came out my dad's becoming a fan of it like almost plus I don't have a mother to teach me cooking but ur recipe's doing wonders for me thanks a lot god blessss
This looks amazing, thanks.
I like this recipe – second time I'm making it. Fun fact – every time I see the thumbnail, I think it's a curry – because the bowl is red on the inside!
Just made this and it is wonderful! Thank you!
If you use Panch Phoron (which consists of fenugreek seed, nigella seed, cumin seed, black mustard seed and fennel seed), how would you alter the recipe (or quantity of ingredients)?
Thank you so much for sharing your recipe my husband loved it
yummy … : p
Hi, would it make a difference if I use powdered or grounded form of the seeds instead of whole seeds? For instance, cumin powder instead of cumin seeds. Thank you!!
Thank you for sharing this recipe:) NICE JOB!
Looks delicious. Will have to try out.
Thanks Shilpi…i almost forgot this recipe which my mother used to make…thank you once again to remind ….
Shilpi, I had watched this video before, just about to make it, so watching it again. The spices you have used for tadka is basically what we Bengalis call panch phoran, it is a combination of all those 5 spices.
Thx alot aunty <3
Maithi what's that spice?
You don't need to fry the eggplant at all before putting it in the masala mixture? That makes it healthy too because eggplants absorb a lot of oil when fried.
Try this traditional and authentic Aloo Baingan sabzi recipe. Simple and Tasty.
