This is not Shakshuka. The eggs were supposed to be poached in the tomato sauce. But in this, the eggs were in direct contact with the pan and it was more of a semi steamed / fried egg with a thick sauce around it.
That has nothing to do with shakshuka whatsoever, but I'm going to try it cuz it looks delicious xD

Shakshuka with eggs is originally a Tunisian dish that was brought to the middle east by Tunisian jews who moved to Israel along with Morrocan and Algerian jews. That is how the dish became popular in the arab world and the middle east . It is a delicious food that we always eat here in Tunisia.

Having cooked this dish a thousand times have to say the sauce looks too dry. This pan was rather shallow and hence also the eggs got fried instead if poached kind off. Even while you make a hole the bottom of the pan is usually visible and those who want to skip that bowl process of adding eggs there and then transferring u can just break it right into the little hole

For breakfast it is so harmful because it contained tomato and many different seasonings as you know it is harmfull for stomach espessially in the morning
