I tried exactly and it didn't come up like cake in video. The moment I added custard powder it thickened and ruined the batter. Now I'm not a professional but there seems to be some trick here. The end result cake shown here cannot be achieved with this method imo..The texture is too smooth and with this kind of batter I guess it won't be possible.
