They look very dry & the sauce is not any better. This I would say back to the drawing board. I'll pass!
The best chanel
From egypt thanks for the great service
The rub looked fine but you lost me after that, man those things looked dry and bland as hell despite the effort
Who puts rub on overlapping pieces of meat??
Were those as dry as they looked????
this looks good to try
I will try the rub. My family doesn't like BBQ sauce so I can skip that. I am not sure about the cook time for this 4.5 hours seems like a long time to me. I also love St Louis and Spare ribs more than baby back because those are juicy and more tender ribs when cooked correctly.
Great Video
I have a smoker but if you do not here is how to smoke on a gas grill. Buy some woodchips, can get them at walmart for about 5$ and that is a good size bag.i like hickory, get what you want.soak a handful or two in a bowl of water for 25 to 30 minutes, may to put a plate/saucer on them to keep them totally submerged and tale them and wrap them completely in heavy duty aluminum foil, cut some slits in the top of the foil to let the smoke out. 4 burner grill 2 left on, 3 burner 1 left on, take grill grate off place foil pack on heated burner slitside up.close lid and wait for smoke, wet chips will smolder/smoke when wet in foil, put seasoned rubbed ribs on grate over non lit burners, smoke around 275 degree F for 3 to 4 hours basting about every one half hour if desired. Keep an eye on temp gauge, if yours doesn't have one, check ribs every time you baste, when you pick up ribs in the middle and they bend downward at both ends they are mellowed out and done, enjoy, from an irishman in rural kentucky
If this was a recipe quoted from the Middle Ages the amount and number of spices would be considered proof they were covering up the taste of rotting meat.
