Does it make a difference if you are kneading the dough on a wood surface of stone surface Tasty?

I have a psychology test tomorrow but here I am watching someone make soft butt like bread rolls
Usually if you start out with a dough that is initially very wet and sticky, it was probably meant to be that way and you shouldn’t really be adding a whole lot of extra flour to it during kneading. As long as you knead it for long enough, it will form into a smooth and not-sticky dough at the end no matter how wet it is at first. Too much flour could cause the end product to be a little denser and less light and fluffy. It does still take some practice though, so if it’s your first time then it might be worth it to add some extra flour just so you can get used to kneading in the first place.
