Lumpy mashed potatoes are the best.
A dash of nutmeg adds a reallly good flavor to mashed potatoes!
I don't think our smoke alarms work right. If there's a little steam from the toaster of oven it goes off. However if smoke fills the room it doesn't go off. Haven't had actual fires though.
I love your show you always keep it real, & you are not afraid to show the real life in the kitchen, this was the best show ever, I'm greatful none was seriously hurt y'all are the best
We do the same thing buying turkeys. My so. We I pick up $20 each worth of groceries and a Turkey each. We each go twice each and stock up. My hubby smokes them during the summer for different occasions. When we have a bunch to feed.
Best Video Ever!!! ππ
Oh GoshπββοΈ It was just like being invited to your home on thanksgiving for real. The only thing missing was the glass of wine in hand-every year in my household there is a catastrophe of some sought on Thanksgiving so this felt like home. Fantastic vlog…π‘π¦
I missed the last part last night. You guys are so calm, at least now you were also able to show people what to do when the oven starts on fire. β‘
I make cranberry sauce but I LOVE THE CANNED KIND- and although I make stuffing you can't beat Stovetop π so good and while I'm at it Cool whip when you can't be bothered is yummy. It all works
You are a regular Lucille Ball! I'm glad to know I'm not the only one to start a fire in the oven. I cremated mushrooms…Lol. Hang in there! Love your videos and your family.
Loved this! Lol
You guys handled it well. Laughter and grace! Well done! (Pun intended)
Iβm sorry. I have been laughing out loud!
The birthday candle is in the oven. LOL
Loved the show guys, true life at times xx
I love that your reaction is to laugh, Tara. Because we have all been there, maybe not with fire (though we once set the centerpiece on fire on Thanksgiving), but with some kind of issue, and you have shown your grace under pressure here. I love that you are just yourself like this on these shows, itβs part of why I love them. No fake chefs here! You sure do deserve your upcoming vacation!!
Good show Tawra (I missed it live). Now we know how to put out an oven fire! LOL
do you think if I used your recipe, but roasted this in my roaster oven it would do the same thing?
Hello from Ga!πππ
Enjoy your vacation, safe and fun travels
Good job with meal and teaching how to put out oven fires. Happy Thanksgiving π¦ππ½ day

Oh my goodness! Bless your hearts! Best video ever! So true to what happens sometimes you canβt fake mishaps like this. Iβm nearly in the floor laughing π. But I know the food will be good. Get er done π oh my Iβm hurting here! Love you guys thanks for the fun video. Christmas video I canβt wait!
This may be the most awesomely real video in Youtube history.
I love the thumb nail caption and photo its brilliant I havent had time to watch yet but will x
Ohhhh nooooo! Tawra! Oh my goodness! You had me gasping out loud! The cherry on top was the alarm going off. All your hard work!!!!π At least you are sensible enough to laugh about it. Your cookbook has quickly become my most used, go to cook book. Everything I've made is beyond wonderful and my kids love it!
I watched you live on bf , it was a doozy! Lol! Thatβs real πΊ! Love you guys!
I cooked my turkey on Sunday, and did not drop it either. I got a Honeysuckle White from Sav-A-Lot for $.49 lb. I put onion bullion cubes in the cavity,, no butter, and did it breast upright. Very, very juicy and flavorful. Going out to relatives for T-Day dinner, so now I have my own. Made broth with the giblets, and then added the juices from the pan, and the bones to make crockpot broth overnight. I nuke poked sweet potatoes for about 8 minutes and then slit the potatoes and put them through my ricer (it keeps any strings). I have been known to do 5 lbs. at a time, and keep in 2 cup portions in the freezer in freezer bags. Just the right amount for sweet potato pies too. I put my peeled, boiled potatoes through the ricer also and only add a little salt and lots of butter. Never had that orange jello salad but it really sounds great. Will be trying that soon. We always seem to forget the rolls, at least I do. And I bet you have watched every episode of "I Love Lucy" and "The Lucy Show" haven't you??? This is just one of the funniest live streams yet. I still think the tp one is 31 though.
Well, at least you know your smoke alarms work!
Tawra, don't worry, we have all had little fires. I love your laughing at the end!ππππππ
Omg! Something that would happen here at my house! God Bless you guys!
I donβt think I wouldβve believed this if I hadnβt watched it all away to the end. Too funny!
This is my favorite episode ever! That was better than an I Love Lucy episode! Happy Thanksgiving! π
This was like the best show. Talk about reality TV lol. You're all the best. Have a wonderful vacation.
This is the best cooking show yet! Love to hear the sound of the alarm cause it won't be the holidays with out it! great day to you!
The excess juice from the oranges can be used to flavor a white box π° or cupcakes or I would use it to marinate chicken along with spices for a moist, yummy tasting chicken ( can so with beef or pork as well)
Smoke Alarm – The dinner call of my people!
My daughter needs to eat dairy free, what can you substitute for the stick of butter to cook the turkey? Thanks
What a fun video! Oh well Idid learn a few things! The recipes looked great. I have your cookbook and love it. Have fun and TAKE CARE!!!
Here in the south we use the juice from the turkey to add to cornbread, butter, onions, celery, sage, chopped eggs salt and pepper to make dressing verses stuffing. Yum!
Best show ever lol.
This is real life people! LOL, No editing and glamourizing
That was AWESOME! Thanks guys!
My husband went to Food Lion in NC where we live. They had a deal that if you spent $35 for you total purchase, you could get Turkey or a limit of 2 for 28 cents a pound. He spent $35 and the 2 he bought were 14 pounds each and totaled $8.00!!! We feed 23 family members each year at Thanksgiving and Christmas so this was wonderful for our family. God is so good and we are so Thankful. Be blessed and thanks for the video. Have a wonderful dinner together.
Never a dull moment with Tara cooking
Wow !!!! Crazy
Best show ever!!!!! Keeping it real folks! Love u guys
